As Director of Analytics & Insights, Europe at Samsung Ads, Matt leads analytics, thought leadership, and audience intelligence across Samsung’s ecosystem of more than 70m connected TVs. He is responsible for shaping the strategy behind how data powers monetisation, partnerships, and product innovation across the Samsung Ads business, including Samsung TV Plus, Samsung’s ad-supported streaming TV service. Matt brings over a decade of experience to the role, having previously held senior positions at ITV and YouView.


During his time at Samsung, Matt has pioneered the Samsung Insights Planner; Brand Lift studies using first-party ACR (Automatic Content Recognition) data; and TV-to-mobile data targeting and measurement. 


He also leads Samsung’s integration into Origin, the UK’s cross-media measurement initiative, and supports the evolution of similar initiatives across Europe. Additionally, Matt works closely with advertisers, broadcasters, and measurement bodies to shape the future of premium video. He also advocates for trusted data, transparent measurement, and the responsible use of AI to improve outcomes for brands and viewers alike. He is a regular keynote speaker at events including The Future of Brands and Connected TV World Summit, cutting through the noise on streaming behaviours, ad effectiveness, and the future of measurement.
