Smita Pillai has been a leading light in the partnerships industry for years. In her role as Regional Vice President, Customer Success at impact.com, Smita manages the Agency customer success team that delivers world-class service to impact.com clients and agency partners.
Prior to working at impact.com, Smita had extensive global experience in the media and advertising industry across various client management roles in EMEA, Australia and India.
Her diverse professional background, coupled with her personal experiences, has given her a unique perspective on challenges in different work environments, and she is a passionate advocate for mental health and well-being in the workplace.
She is also a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Ambassador at impact.com, where she works alongside a global team of Ambassadors to actively cultivate a more empathetic and diverse workplace.
In this role, she has spearheaded initiatives to cultivate an inclusive workplace, such as leading a series called Coffee and Conversations - a quarterly panel discussion that has employee speakers sharing their experiences. Recent sessions have covered topics such as imposter syndrome that affect their mental health and well-being in the workplace.
She is a firm believer in the power of mentoring programmes to support upcoming leaders. She is a mentor within the Global Affiliate and Partner Marketing Mentor Programme, and has previously volunteered with She Says on their mentoring programme ‘Who’s Your Momma’ to support women in the creative industry.
