ABOUT US

Our Story

Our founder, Julia Linehan has been in the digital advertising industry for nearly three decades. Just before she set up The Digital Voice™, Julia worked at a company in which they decided her job title was to be ‘The Voice’. This might have been because her nickname was the mouth of the media!


“I have always had a lot to say and always very much been a mouthpiece for those companies that I worked for; presenting them on stage, through the press and in content. This formed the basis of how The Digital Voice™ was born and how I opened the doors to working with multiple companies,” says Julia Linehan. “We always work with companies that have a lot to say and they need a strong and knowledgeable mouthpiece. We turn up the volume on everything they want to share. That’s The Digital Voice™!”


Over the last 10 years, the industry has seen adtech explode, which is a good thing because The Digital Voice™ specialises in adtech. So, we were sitting pretty in the right space and able to deliver a compelling proposition to companies that wanted something a bit different; an agency full of energy, hugely driven by outputs and who could become more of a team extension to clients.

Julia Linehan

Founder and CEO

Winner of the 2023 Campaign 40over40 award, Julia Linehan founded The Digital Voice™ in 2012 and has built up a well loved PR agency and team who live and breathe all things PR, communications and digital marketing. In her role as Founder and CEO of The Digital Voice™, she manages an expert team of freelancers who deliver PR, communications and showcase experiences for our long term clients. 


Known for her boundless energy, Julia started her career in digital advertising at Dennis Publishing 27 years ago and she has been at the heart of the changing digital media landscape ever since. She has held major commercial roles both agency and media side including Associated Newspapers, 614 Group, The Mirror Group Newspapers, Dennis Publishing,  IAB, Nexus Business Media and UPC Media. She is also a co-founder of numerous industry groups as well as at the beating heart of many of the communities within the digital advertising industry. 


Fun fact: Julia represented the UK on French TV at the age of 12 reading the Children’s Charter for UNICEF. Julia can also put her whole fist in her mouth ( small fist, large mouth!)
